Policies and Procedures

Dance Classroom Etiquette

Courtesy, respect and positive behavior are expected at all times by students, staff and family members. Students should use restroom prior to start of class. Profanity, poor sportsmanship, or negative discussions will not be tolerated by students or parents.

Attendance / Makeup Policy

Being on time for class teaches children responsibility and shows respect for classmates and teachers. Students who are tardy should enter discreetly; if arriving more than 10 minutes late to class without proper warm up, might be asked to observe rather than participate to avoid injury. Three (3) tardies are considered one absence. This absence is not subject to any credits or make-up classes.

You are required to call the studio if your student will be absent. If classes are canceled due to inclement weather, a recorded message will be left on the studio’s voicemail and will be announced via email by 2 pm. No credits or refunds will be issued, however the absence or snow day may be “made up” according to our missed class makeup policy: Absences or weather closings may be made up by attending another class in the student’s same level within two weeks of the absence or weather closing. There will be no makeup classes allowed after April 1 due to Spring Concert preparations. More than two absences after April 1st may result in non-participation in the Spring Concert.

Class Withdrawal

Students may withdraw from any or all classes at any time by notifying the office. Payment for all classes already taken is due at time of cancellation. No refunds will be issued.

Spring Concert costumes will be ordered for all enrolled students unless the office is notified otherwise. After December 1st, clients will be responsible in full for costume fees. Costumes are non-refundable by their manufacturers.

Curtain Call Dance Center reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient registration. A full refund will be offered in the event Curtain Call Dance Center cancels a class permanently.
