Grace Mccutcheon


Grace Mccutcheon is a native of Zanesville, Ohio and began her training at Movement on Main Center for Dance at a young age. Upon graduating as high school valedictorian in 2018, she was accepted to the University of Cincinnati’s prestigious College Conservatory of Music majoring in ballet. She is currently pursuing a BFA in ballet as well as a BBA in business economics from The University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business. Her graduation date is in the spring of 2022. She has received academic, and merit based CCM awards along with the Kautz Uible Joni Lewis Economic Institute Endowment.  In the Conservatory she performed numerous roles such as Medora in Dierdre Carberry’s Le Jardin Animé, Russian Girl in George Balanchine’s Serenade, as well as in Qi Jiang’s Rite of Spring.

In 2019 she accepted a co-op with Fort Wayne Ballet where she worked under the artistic direction of Karen Gibbons-Brown, and other faculty including Tracy Tritz, Eleonora Pokhitonova Hartung, and Nurzhan Kulybaev.

Grace joined Indianapolis Ballet as an apprentice in 2021 and performed both corps de ballet and soloist roles. She was recently promoted and is looking forward to continuing her experience with IB as a company member this season.
