Rachel Stocking

Instructor

Rachel Stocking began dancing at Curtain Call at the age of 9 and was a member of the Senior Performing Company for 5 years. During her time at the studio, she was an Apprentice for the Junior Performing Company, taught multiple summer camp classes and performance classes, and was the first Sugar Plum Fairy in the studio’s first annual Nutcracker performance. Rachel attended Purdue University where she majored in Hospitality and Tourism Management and was a member of the Purdue Golduster Dance Team and the Higher Ground Dance Company. While living in West Lafayette, she was the tap teacher at Golden Steps Dance Studio for 2 years. Since graduating from Purdue, Rachel has worked in the hospitality industry in Indianapolis and is currently a Senior Event Manager at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. She lives in the Brownsburg area with her husband, James, and their dog and cat, Sasha and Sadie. Tap has always been her favorite style of dance and she cannot wait to be back at Curtain Call this year, sharing her passion and love of dance!
